I brewed this as a pour-over this morning and the brown sugar sweetness lingered long after the last sip, which was exactly what I needed. Knowing it's grown by a collective of women producers in Huehuetenango makes that chocolatey cup feel even better.
The chocolate note is deep and rich from the first sip, and the brown sugar sweetness lingers nicely into the finish. I brewed it as a pour-over and it was smooth with zero bitterness, even as it cooled. This is the kind of coffee that makes me glad I took a chance on something new.
